In this mixed-media ceramic work, a chrome oxide mixture is applied to the spider, allowing it to leave a soft pink shadow on the vessel during firing. The form is then finished with gold luster, adding a sense of mystery and preciousness to the surface.

Suspended along delicate threads, acrylic droplets hover as if they are about to fall, while ceramic plates below capture the spreading motion of ripples. The work freezes a fleeting moment of movement—water about to drop, sound about to emerge, waves about to expand. Through ceramic, thread, gold luster, and acrylic, “Lily of the Valley” reflects on the idea that a single instant can contain a sense of eternity.
